Bang & Olufsen opens in Marylebone


Luxury Danish electronics company Bang & Olufsen has opened a new store on Marylebone High Street.

The company, which started in 1925, has become the iconic face of high quality audio visual equipment. With stores across Europe, the Bang & Olufsen brand has become renowned for the sleek aesthetics of its product range as much as the exceptional performance.

Priding themselves on producing a unique multimedia experience, the Bang & Olufsen store is set to fit in well with the range of high-end retailers already present on Marylebone High Street. With a diverse product range including a fine selection of loudspeakers, TVs, sound systems and more, there’s bound to be something for even the most discerning customer.

The new opening may come as a surprise to some in the midst of a major company restructuring. With 125 jobs set to be cut in an attempt to reduce costs, the ever-growing competition in electrical goods market it evidently taking its toll. However, the company released its preliminary figures for the third quarter of the financial year – ending May 31, 2015 – which show revenue is up 19% compared with the same period a year earlier.
