Chiltern Street Christmas Shopping 2016

Christmas calendar favourite, the Chiltern Street Shopping event, is returning to Marylebone for one night only on Wednesday 23rd of November.

The shops lining Chiltern Street will extend their opening hours till 9pm and will host a variety of promotions and special offers – think of it as black Friday but without the crowds, without the madness and without the queues. Instead, the shops will offer complimentary Christmas food and drink, live music will be played and a whole host of promotions will be on offer. The perfect way to start your Christmas. The event starts at 5pm and will last until the stores close at 9pm.

Live music will be played along the street by various talented acts such as; the saxophonist Tyler Rix, jazz band the Futuristic Gramophone and a 9-piece gospel choir.

Keep an eye out for the Chiltern Firehouse who will be handing shoppers exclusive festive sweet and savoury treats along their terrace, the architect for these dishes is renowned executive chef Nuno Mendes. As well as free food, free Whiskey taster sessions will also be on offer at Chiltern Street favourite Cadenhead’s. Helping warm the cockles of your heart on the ever colder winter evenings, or if spirits don’t do it for you, the Monocle Café will also be offering mulled wine to shoppers.

Loved Chiltern Street brands will be hosting a myriad of free, yes free, customisation experiences. Brands participating include; trendy resort label PRISM, British underwear brand Hamilton and Hare, and independent jewellers Cox +Power. Shoppers can also try their hand at crafting their own Christmas decoration at Appointment Only Design, where a free wreath-making workshop will be taking place. Also a whole host of other brands that call Chiltern Street home such as; Sunspel, Long Tall Sally and Grey Flannel will be putting on promotions and offers to help customers save that little extra over the expensive festive period.

But if you just can’t wait until the 23rd of November there is a way you can get involved now! There is a competition on the Chiltern Street Facebook page, where you can have the chance to win a hamper that is worth over £800.
