La Pâtisserie des Rêves are to launch their support for Great Ormond Street Hospital by hosting a cake sale – the London version of ‘Goûter de la Rentrée’ picnic in Paris (celebrating the return to school) – on the 20th of September in Marylebone’s Portman Square.
The cake sale will be in aid of Bake it Better – a Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity campaign to get the nation to hold a bake sale and help to raise vital funds. La Pâtisserie des Rêves are encouraging 100 London families to take part by baking a cake with their children and bringing it to the event, which will be held from 3pm-6pm in Portman Square.
The afternoon will culminate in a competition, where cakes will be judged by co-founder of La Pâtisseries des Rêves, Thierry Teyssier, as well as award-winning food writer Rose Prince. A fabulous range of prizes will be up for grabs on the day, including a year’s supply of La Pâtisserie des Rêves cakes and each attendee will also be able to enjoy a complimentary picnic donated to them on arrival by La Pâtisserie des Rêves.
