Babicka Vodka has announced a cocktail making competition that will bring together some of Marylebone’s best barmen.
The competition, called ‘A Witches Brew’, will be hosted by pan-asian restaurant and bar Cocochan (located on James Street) and barmen from some of Marylebone Village’s finest hotels, bars and clubs will compete with their own cocktails, all of which must contain a minimum of 25ml of Babicka Vodka.
Babicka Vodka is a unique wormwood based vodka, created by a Master Distiller in Czech Republic using a recipe that dates back to 1518. The brand is well established in the UK, with cocktail listings in some of London’s most famous bars and restaurants – including The Ritz, China Tang (The Dorchester Hotel), Little House (Soho House Group) and Nobu Berkeley Street.
The competition will take place across 4 evenings plus a final. The first evening will take place on 1st May and all of the competitors will be from South Marylebone. The bars taking part include:
– Cocochan (host)
– Reform & Social Bar at The Mandeville Hotel
– The Marylebone Hotel Bar
There is no doubt Marylebone is becoming ever more prominent as a cocktail destination and looking at the line up for ‘A Witches Brew’, the competition is likely to put many of Marylebone’s bars on the map for a winning cocktail.
