Corbin & King to open Fischer’s in Marylebone

Having completed their most recent opening over a year ago – Sloane Square’s Cafe Colbert – restaurateurs Chris Corbin & Jeremy King are to open Fischer’s on Marylebone High Street this spring.

Fischer’s will offer an informal 20th century Viennese all day dining experience, with the restaurant opening on the old site of Cotidie at 50 Marylebone High Street, adding to Corbin & King’s collection of some of London’s best known eateries, including The Delaunay and The Wolseley.

I was fortunate enough to recently visit the site and be shown plans by Jeremy King, who told me he had had his eye on the prominent site at the top of Marylebone High Street for a while.

Local residents and businesses seem to be as excited as us to be welcoming Corbin & King to the neighbourhood along with the new Fischer’s team, who the morning after I met them were flying to Vienna on a research trip.

We’ll have more news as it comes.
