It’s part 3 of the Breakfast in Marylebone series – this time we get our most important meal of the day at Reform Social & Grill, The Mandeville Hotel.
Food – Being linked to The Mandeville Hotel, expect a good range of options. A continental buffet featuring pastries, cured meats and cheeses is one option, whilst others include grilled kippers, muesli, porridge and eggs in nearly every format you can imagine with all the different sides. We went for one Eggs Benedict and one Eggs Royal – the poached eggs were perfectly cooked and both meals tasted fresh, whilst being served up nice and fast.
Drink – There’s a host of teas, juices and coffees to choose from – we selected a fresh orange juice and a cappuccino to kickstart our morning.
Sights – It feels as though you’re sat within a British gentleman’s club – think comfy padded leather seats and well dressed, polite waiters. The guests are a mix of those just visiting Reform Social & Grill, or those staying in The Mandeville Hotel.
Sounds – The atmosphere at Reform Social & Grill is nice and quiet – apart from the gentle murmur of conversations expect to eat in peace.
Timings – Head to Reform Social & Grill between 7:00 and 10:30 during the week, or 8:00 until 11:30 on the weekend.
