Coffee Review: Coco Momo

Coffee Coco MomoYes the coffee review is a bit late, but here it is – better late than never! This week we took a stroll up Marylebone High Street to Coco Momo.

Set in an old pub Coco Momo is a Cafe Bar & Brasserie serving food all day, from breakfast to dinner. We arrived around 11am and it was already busy (the weather was surprisingly good). We chose to sit outside where a funky green colour runs throughout, with Coco Momo’s corner plot providing the perfect place to sit and watch High Street life go past – people watching heaven.

The food and coffee are good with the service and experience really making Coco Momo a great place to stop at anytime of day. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive – in this sense it is a great choice to sit and enjoy a coffee when not in a hurry. We had our usual cappuccinos – they came with a healthy sprinkling of chocolate and were well sized!

The food menu is extensive and fairly diverse – all your breakfast regulars are there. We went for a Salmon Bagel that came served with a small side salad – a great compliment to the coffee and the perfect brunchtime snack.

Bagel Coco MomoOverall a great place to stop and watch the Marylebone world pass by. Although owned by a bigger group of restaurants and pubs, Coco Momo still has the feeling of uniqueness and independence that is vital to success in Marylebone Village.
