It’s been a fairly muggy week in our great capital, with the weather struggling to decide between summer, British summer and the end of summer. Here are a few weird and wonderful events to keep everyone entertained this weekend:
This weekend at the Royal Academy, as part of the Inside Out festival celebrating the work of architect Richard Rogers, there is a free Lego exhibition where budding engineers and architects can rebuild the London skyline, making use of over 70,000 coloured lego bricks!
After beach volleyball in Horse Guards Parade, how about beach rugby in the Covent Garden Piazza? This Friday and Saturday there is a tournament taking place on the sand. Get down and have a watch – we definitely would rather be spectators than competitors!
The Royal Geographic Society are having their annual competition to find the best travel photographer of the year. The exhibition is open until 7pm on Sunday and is just across the park. It may even inspire you to book yourself a winter escape.
