The Weekender – London – 2nd-4th August

It is that time of the week again. We’ve got our fingers crossed for another weekend of sun – here our top tips for what to get up to in the capital with your precious couple of days off….

1. The Floating Cinema at Regent’s Canal

For all you cinema and art lovers, a special one-off Live Art commission by artist Tim Bromage exploring the facts and folklore of the London waterways will be shown in the Cumberland Basin.

2. Camden Fringe

Running all weekend the Camden Fringe saves you the three-hour train journey to Edinburgh. Right on Marylebone’s doorstep the fringe has a masse of live theatre, music and comedy at various venues across NW1.

3. Kids Week

Kids Week is giving free entertainment to kids across the capital for the whole of August, introducing them to the magic of London theatre for free. The Dinosaur Zoo in Regent’s Park sounds particularly amusing, some of the less mature members of the Marylebone London team will no doubt be having a look…

Whatever you do this weekend, we hope you enjoy – it looks like it’s going to be another hot one!
