Americans know how to throw a big event. This weekend sees the NFL come to London, the Minnesota Vikings take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Wembley on Sunday. In preparation Regent Street will be pedestrianised for all of Saturday to showcase the best of American Football including music, food, cheerleaders, team drum-lines, interactive games and more. See the players of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings as they prepare for their game at Wembley Stadium the following day.
Opening this weekend in the heart of Marylebone is the solo exhibition of Tatsuo Miyajima. The exhibition comprises of three new bodies of work based on his ongoing use of numerical displays constructed from light-emitting diodes (LEDs). It is open till November, it even has its own relaxation pod!
All weekend Soho will play host to some of the biggest names in writing and theatre, from Rupert Everett to Ruby Wax. A highlight will no doubt be Sir David Hare and Rupert Everett talking about Oscar Wilde with his only grandchild, Merlin Holland.
