Imitate Modern: ‘And The Stars Shine Down’

Following on from her last gallery show; Colour, artist Stasha unveils her new show: ‘And The Stars Shine Down’.

The collection launches at Saatchi on Tuesday 2nd and continues to Imitate Modern for a four day pop up running from the 4th-7th December. Showcasing a fine art style honed during three previous solo shows, Stasha unveils a dreamlike collection that promises to capture the imagination of London this Christmas. Not limiting her creativity to canvas, Stasha has included a number of unusual items in the collection: the ‘unseatable sofa’ and ‘Stasha’s boots’ (the boots she wears whilst creating her artwork), which she explains are treated “like art pieces, because to me, they are”.

An accomplished creative, Stasha has also published a book about cooking for loved ones entitled ‘How To Feed A Man’. She has designed a range of clothing, kitchen textiles and home furnishings all inspired by her artwork.

Stasha takes inspiration from the idea that our loved ones can look down on us to provide comfort. With this in mind, Stasha and Imitate modern will be fundraising for the ‘Make A Wish Foundation’ throughout the Christmas period.
