Basque restaurant Lurra, reviewed here, have launched a new brunch menu, along with extra private dining space.
Lurra’s head chef Damien Surowiec, based in Seymour Place – the Marylebone restaurant hub – has curated more Basque inspired dishes to add to an already impressive menu. There are specialities such as:
Jamon Iberico on sourdough with duck egg & piquillo purée
Slow cooked Tolosa beans with morcilla & kale
Sauté potatoes with crispy chorizo, shallots and egg
Lurra has so far gained fantastic reviews from food critics such as Giles Coren of The Times and Damien Surowiec has also released a special set menu for parties of 8 or more. The group set menu features Lurra’s signature dishes:
Sourdough with grilled bone marrow
Grilled octopus with piquillo sauce
Whole grilled turbot with Txakoli sauce

Fries with smoked paprika & aioli
Grilled red peppers
