Marylebone Old Town Hall Redevelopment

An artists impression of how Marylebone Old Town Hall might look

Further to the recently announced plans to redevelop Marylebone Old Town Hall, it has been decided that Mayfair library will be used as the location for weddings during the work.

Marylebone Old Town Hall is home to the London Register Office and the Grade II listed building has hosted the weddings of many famous couples, including Beatles Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

Those also wishing to tie the knot at the famous venue will now have to look towards Mayfair library instead, until the Marylebone Old Town Hall reopens in 2015 following the £50m worth of redevelopment.
