The Marylebone Summer Fayre is the pinnacle of the summer months in Marylebone – it’s undoubtedly one of the most special events in London, let alone Marylebone. We often hear the term ‘Marylebone Village’ used to describe Marylebone High Street and the surrounding area, but with the Summer Fayre in full swing Marylebone really is in ‘village’ mode. Where else in central London will you find an authentic Village Fayre, let alone a stone’s throw from Oxford Street, Bond Street, Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Baker Street or Regents Park, just to name a few?
Having run each June for 8 years now, hosts Howard de Walden Estates have this year chosen to work with Kids Company, a charity working with vulnerable inner-city children across London.
There will be food & drink, stalls & retailers, music & performance and kid’s activities taking place throughout the day, providing a little bit of something for everyone. As the big food fans that we are, we’re particularly looking forward to eating our way through as many stalls as possible and can’t wait to see some of Marylebone’s best restaurants out in force.
All we ask is that each evening from now until the Fayre, everybody completes a mandatory sun dance before going to bed! Fingers crossed for a beautiful day in Marylebone!
Make sure you leave us a comment below if we’re going to see you there and we’ll make sure to come and say hello!
